Banana Bread

What's more satisfying than knowing that you're snacking healthy!
That's exactly what Banana Bread does to you. Its one of those guilt-free cakes you can snack on any time of the day. Makes for some quick breakfast too.
So, on one of those not-so-chaotic days, I always like to bake a loaf and store it.
That way, I'm not binging on creamy cakes and cookies and watching my calories too.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas well mashed
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Method
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Mix the melted butter and the mashed bananas in a large bowl. Add the brown sugar, egg and vanilla sugar. Keep aside. Sift the baking soda, salt and flour (dry ingredients). Add the dry ingredients in batches to the wet mixture and mix well for about 5 minutes. Pour the batter into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool and slice to serve or store.
